About

Be still, and know He is near.

Seed & Seek is a quiet companion for Scripture, prayer, and memorization — built around the ancient hours of devotion rather than the endless feed.

Most apps that touch faith were built first as engagement products and then dressed in spiritual language. Streaks. Notifications. Push, push, push. We think that gets the relationship backwards. The Word is not a content stream to optimize against, and prayer is not a daily task to be gamified. So we built the opposite kind of tool — one that invites you to slow down, that doesn’t beg you to come back, that gets out of the way once you’ve opened your Bible.

What you’ll find here: a full Bible reader with historical and theological context when you want it, a prayer journal that tracks God’s answers over time, lectio divina movements that slow you down, and a memorization practice rooted in spaced repetition. All of it private, all of it yours.

What we believe

Seed & Seek is built on the historic Christian faith — the faith confessed by the church for two thousand years in the Apostles’ and Nicene creeds. One God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, crucified for our sins, bodily risen, and returning. Salvation by grace, through faith in him.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God, and we read it as one unfolding story that finds its center in Jesus.

Where faithful Christians have honestly differed — baptism, church order, the last things — we show you the main ways the church has read a passage rather than selling you one side as settled. Seed & Seek is built to serve the whole church, not one corner of it.

How we keep the AI honest

Some of what you read here — the historical context in Go Deeper, the chapter reflections, the daily world view — is drafted by AI. We treat that as a weighty responsibility, so the AI does not work on its own judgment. It works under written rules, and under checks that run in code.

When it writes about a passage, it never works from memory: the full text of that passage — the Berean Standard Bible — is placed in front of it before it writes a word. And when it suggests a passage, pairing Scripture with the day’s news or bringing a verse alongside a prayer, the reference is checked against our Bible database before you ever see it. A citation that doesn’t exist is discarded automatically. An invented verse cannot reach you.

The written rules are not marketing language — they are the actual standing instructions the AI works under. A few of them, quoted verbatim:

  • On facts

Do not invent facts… honest absence beats confident fabrication.

  • On disagreement

Say “Christians have read this in a few different ways”… never use the word “scholars” as a wall between the reader and the text.

  • On hard chapters

Some chapters are not mainly about what we do; they are about him. Reverent honesty is better than a manufactured task.

  • On application

Phrase each as a gentle invitation, never a command.

  • On the news

Report facts, not opinions. Do not take partisan sides on contested political questions.

And we read what it writes. We have reviewed its chapters against Scripture ourselves and asked early readers from our own churches to do the same; when something reads wrong, we fix the rules, not just the sentence. We make no claim of theological infallibility — no faithful teacher does — and the conviction underneath every feature stands: AI assists your study. It does not replace Scripture, prayer, the Holy Spirit, pastors, or Christian community.

If something you read here seems to sit wrong against Scripture, tell us. Those messages go to the top of the pile.

Who builds it

Seed & Seek is made by Seed and Seek LLC, a small studio in Florida. We are an independent shop — no venture capital, no advertising network, no growth team. Just a few people building the tool we wished existed.
